Week 1 - Increase Your Influence: An Introduction to Leadership Development
How many times have you heard a coach say “be a leader” but fail to tell you how to do that? We will dive into how to develop your leadership ability and how to lead in a way that is authentic to you.


Week 2 - The Communication Triad: Mastering Verbal, Physical, and Digital Communication. 
One of the biggest tools you can develop as an athlete is your ability to communicate to teammates and coaches. Master your communication and watch your influence soar!

MENTAL RESILIENCY

Week 3 - The Inner Game: Using Imagination and Breathing to Increase Performance
If the game really is more mental than physical, then our practice schedule should represent that belief. In this section, we will learn about mental repetition and emotional regulation through breathing techniques. These are GAME CHANGERS!


Week 4 - The Secret to Performance Excellence: Pirate Maps and BHAGs
We don't have to look far for ways to get eh edge, but we do have to look! The good news is success leaves clues, and I will teach you about a new kind of pirate map that will get you to the treasure of elite performance every time.


CHARACTER DEVELOPMENT

Week 5 - Talent Needs Character: Respect Yourself, Respect the Game
The world is full of talented people who will never be remembered. These people get lost to time and never shine as bright as they could. In this section, we will discuss how to compete in a way that allows you to compete again another day.

Week 6 - YOU-Unleashed: Setting Up Your Future Self for Success
There are a few things that should be common knowledge but are not. The people we surround ourselves with and our awareness of resources will be the difference maker in our performance.

Your Mental Game Coach: James Leath

James Leath is a mental performance coach and the founder of Unleash the Athlete. With a bachelors in communication, a masters in Performance Psychology, and almost 20 years of coaching experience, James teaches leadership, character, and mental residency to elite performers in sport, theater, and business through keynotes, workshops, and online courses. He has worked for companies like IMG Academy, USA Swimming, Positive Coaching Alliance, and the Dallas Cowboys. He was most recently a mental performance coach for the Chicago Bulls organization. Coach Leath lives in Dallas, TX.
